A naïve, yet to me personally, nostalgic and sentimental project that first fully got me into drawing, writing, and later animation. An idea for a comic about Max and Suzy Pain, an eccentric couple who unexpectedly inherit a vast fortune along with the historic Pain estate from Max’s enigmatic grandfather, Hieronymus. The inheritance stirs up tension within Max’s already fragile family and unravels a chain of events that leads to the unsettling truth behind Hieronymus’s untimely death. A family-drama/comedy based on true events. The full story is still waiting to be told someday.
